The ONIX XM2 is a truly compact Hi-Fi portable music player designed for listeners who want high-quality sound without carrying a bulky device. With a minimalist aluminium body, tactile hardware controls and a clear 3-inch touchscreen, the XM2 combines everyday portability with serious audio performance.
Built around a Cirrus Logic CS4308P flagship 8-channel DAC and ONIX’s in-house “Brighton” architecture, the XM2 is made to deliver a clean, detailed and powerful sound from a pocket-sized player. Whether you are using standard 3.5mm headphones or balanced 4.4mm earphones, the XM2 offers impressive output power, with up to 800mW available from the balanced output.
The XM2 supports high-resolution audio up to PCM 768kHz / 32bit and native DSD512, alongside a wide range of popular file formats. With MicroSD card support up to 2TB, Tidal online streaming, Wi-Fi connectivity, DLNA, AirPlay and two-way Bluetooth 5.2, it is flexible enough for local music libraries, wireless listening and modern streaming use.
USB-C connectivity also allows the XM2 to work as a USB DAC or USB digital transport, making it a useful compact Hi-Fi component as well as a portable player. The rotatable screen, custom FN button and companion app support add extra convenience for everyday use.
