The ONIX Tocata XM2, Now in Copper
(1).png)
The ONIX Tocata XM2 Copper Edition takes the compact, music-focused XM2 Digital Audio Player and gives it a distinctive new Copper Edition design.
Created as a limited version of the Tocata XM2, it retains the same powerful audio platform, compact dimensions and dedicated music system that made the original XM2 such an appealing portable player, while introducing a striking copper exterior for listeners looking for something a little more special.
With flagship Cirrus Logic conversion, powerful balanced amplification, high-resolution playback, wireless streaming and extensive connectivity packed into a genuinely compact design, the XM2 Copper Edition combines premium portable Hi-Fi with a standout new look.
Flagship Cirrus Logic CS4308P DAC
At the heart of the Tocata XM2 is the Cirrus Logic CS4308P, a flagship 8-channel DAC designed around a fully balanced audio architecture.
The XM2 was the first ONIX player to use the CS4308P, pairing it with ONIX's in-house developed Brighton I/V conversion architecture and dedicated amplification.
The result is a compact player designed to deliver detailed, refined audio performance without the bulk associated with many high-end Digital Audio Players.

Powerful Balanced Headphone Output
Despite its compact size, the XM2 offers substantial headphone-driving power.
The 4.4mm balanced headphone output can deliver up to 800mW @ 32Ω in High Gain, while the 3.5mm single-ended output provides up to 204mW @ 32Ω.
Low output impedance also makes the XM2 suitable for use with sensitive IEMs, giving listeners the flexibility to pair it with a wide range of earphones and headphones.
Pure Music-Focused System
Rather than using a full Android operating system, the Tocata XM2 runs on ONIX's dedicated music platform powered by the Ingenic X2000.
The streamlined system keeps the player focused firmly on music playback, providing fast access to local music libraries and integrated audio features without the distractions of a conventional smartphone-style operating system.
Music can be stored on a MicroSD card with capacities up to 2TB, providing plenty of room for extensive high-resolution collections.

High-Resolution Audio Playback
The XM2 supports high-resolution PCM playback up to 768kHz/32-bit alongside native DSD512.
A broad range of audio formats is supported, including DSD, ISO, DXD, APE, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, ALAC, M4A and OPUS.
Four selectable digital filters allow listeners to further tailor playback to their preferences.
Wi-Fi Streaming
Built-in Wi-Fi extends the XM2 beyond local music playback.
Tidal streaming is integrated directly into the player, while DLNA and AirPlay support provide additional ways to access and play music over a home network.
Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity are supported.
Two-Way Bluetooth 5.2
Two-way Bluetooth 5.2 allows the XM2 to work both as a wireless source and as a Bluetooth receiver.
Connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers directly to the player for wireless listening, or stream audio from a smartphone to the XM2 and make use of its dedicated DAC and headphone amplification.
Supported Bluetooth codecs include LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC.

USB DAC & Digital Output
USB-C connectivity gives the XM2 additional flexibility beyond standalone portable playback.
Connect it to a computer or compatible mobile device and use the XM2 as a dedicated USB DAC and headphone amplifier.
Alternatively, USB digital output allows the XM2 to serve as a compact digital transport when connected to an external DAC or Hi-Fi system.
Compact Touchscreen Design
A square 3-inch touchscreen provides a clear interface for browsing music and controlling playback, supported by dedicated physical controls and a tactile volume wheel.
The display can also be rotated, making the XM2 easy to position and operate in different portable or desktop setups.
SyncLink support through the Eddict Player app provides additional remote-control functionality from compatible Android and iOS devices.
