HIFIMAN SERENADE Wireless

The HiFiMAN Serenade Wireless is a premium all-in-one DAC, headphone amplifier, preamplifier and network streamer, bringing together HiFiMAN’s proprietary digital conversion technology with powerful Class A amplification and modern wireless connectivity. Designed for both dedicated headphone listening and integration into a wider Hi-Fi system, Serenade Wireless offers high-end performance from a single, versatile desktop component.

At the heart of the Serenade Wireless is HiFiMAN’s HYMALAYA PRO R2R DAC. Rather than relying on a conventional off-the-shelf DAC chip, the HYMALAYA PRO uses HiFiMAN’s own resistor-ladder conversion architecture to handle digital-to-analogue conversion. This gives the Serenade a sophisticated digital foundation designed to deliver high levels of detail, accuracy and musicality.

The DAC stage is partnered with a balanced Class A headphone amplifier, providing substantial power for everything from everyday dynamic headphones to more demanding high-end planar magnetic designs. Balanced output reaches up to 4000mW into 32Ω, with both 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm balanced headphone connections available alongside a traditional 6.35mm single-ended output.

The Wireless version of the Serenade adds Wi-Fi and Ethernet network streaming, allowing music to be played directly over your home network without relying on a permanent USB connection to a computer. Network playback supports high-resolution audio up to PCM 768kHz and DSD512, while the XMOS XU316 USB interface supports up to PCM 384kHz and DSD256.

A comprehensive range of digital and analogue connections makes the Serenade Wireless easy to integrate into a wide variety of systems. USB, optical, coaxial, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and RCA analogue inputs are joined by balanced XLR and RCA line outputs, giving you plenty of flexibility whether you are building a dedicated headphone station, connecting active speakers or adding the Serenade to an existing Hi-Fi setup.

Dedicated DAC, Headphone Amp and Preamp operating modes allow the Serenade Wireless to adapt to different roles within your system. It can operate as a standalone DAC feeding another amplifier, a powerful desktop headphone amplifier, or a variable-output preamplifier for active speakers or a separate power amp.
