DUNU Kima Classic is a redesigned variant of the award-winning DUNU Kima. At a fair glance, the pair looks just like Kima in a new colour scheme, but the sound of the Kima Classic brings a new, fresh flavour to the listeners.
The primary difference between the Kima and the Kima Classic is the new tuning profile for the pair. The Original Kima had a balanced sound output with a hint of warmth, the new Kima Classic has an increased presence for the lower-end and high-frequency regions bringing in a more vivid sound signature that complements Pop music well.
While retaining the praised look of the Original Kima, the new Kima Classic has a new colour scheme for its shells. The pair has a beautiful coffee grey colour scheme with a golden ear nozzle. The ear shells here are crafted using high-precision melting and casting moulds. They are then finished with a specially selected sandblasting process giving them a nicely textured finish.
High-Performance Dual-Chamber Dynamic Driver Unit
KIMA comes equipped with a 10mm large high-performance dual-cavity dynamic driver on each side. This driver features latest-generation DLC(Diamond-Like Carbon) diaphragm coil, N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, and high-tension ultra-fine voice coil. Compared to traditional DLC drivers, this newly-developed driver delivers a cleaner and more natural sound presentation.
Play Of Light & Shadow With 3D Styled Ear Shells
DUNU has designed the KIMA ear shells with dynamic looks. The shells have a 3D-styled shape that shows different light and shadow effects based on the angle of the light. The face cover area is separated into 4 asymmetric inclined planes divided by K-Shaped convex lines. They have a rich, 3D design to them.
Exquisite Matte-Finished Metallic Cavities
KIMA has got a premium design with its matte-finished metallic ear cavities. The shells are compact and have gold-plated brass ear nozzles. Micro-Controller Air-Flow Control Technology
In order to maintain the air pressure inside the cavity structure and promise a comfortable fit without vacuum effects, DUNU features a micro-controller-based air-flow technology on the KIMA.
