The pair shares the design and ergonomics of the original model, but it has been completely redesigned from the inside out. All-New Klein Blue Finish
The OG Falcon Pro model was available in a premium metallic mirror finish, DUNU has stepped up their game with the new Falcon Ultra with an all-new Klein Blue finish. The pair looks absolutely stunning with its dense blue-coloured shells. The shells still have a glossy, mirror finish which complements the Klein Blue colour by different gradients with different light angles.
Second-Generation ECLIPSE Architecture
DUNU Falcon Ultra houses a newly-developed dynamic driver. It is a part of the second generation of ECLIPSE architecture famously introduced in the flagship DUNU Zen IEMs. The pair houses a 10.7mm dd unit with an all-new lithium magnesium alloy dome structure and fully independent soft suspension surround. This combination of the ultra-rigid and lightweight diaphragm and independent suspension results in lighting-fast transients and effortless music reproduction greatly enhancing the performance of the pair.
External Ring-Type Magnetic Assembly
DUNU has also upgraded the magnetic architecture on the Falcon Ultra. The pair features an external ring-type magnetic assembly with a powerful Tesla-level magnetic flux. The magnet pieces are CNC-milled to micron-level tolerances. It results in a strong magnetic flux that is close to that of the flagship Zen Pro ensuring a clear sound with ultra-low distortion.
Enhanced Damping Architecture
Professional acoustic engineers at DUNU have evolved the multi-path damping scheme originally implemented in the Falcon Pro. This new design architecture brings a better balance between the ideal damping and isolation characteristics of the Falcon Ultra. The pair is comfier than before, it doesn’t create pressure on your ear canal while wearing.
Latest DUNU DUW02 Pro High-Purity Stock Cable
DUNU Falcon Ultra comes bundled with DUNU’s latest DUW02 Pro high-purity stock cable. It is a premium cable designed with high-purity Furukawa single-crystal copper silver-plated wire cores and features DUNU’s patented Q-Lock Lite Modular termination plug system. The package will include a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced plugs which users can easily replace whenever required.
Upgraded Driver With New Diaphragm & Magnetic Circuit
Falcon Ultra gets a newly updated diaphragm on the dynamic driver unit. The OG Falcon had a diaphragm with a plastic structure. DUNU has upgraded that with a Lithium Magnesium Alloy which is similar to the Mg-Al Alloy of the flagship Zen Pro IEMs. This new Lithium Magnesium Alloy is very light and strong and promises quality output with clear sound reproduction.
DUNU has also upgraded the magnet circuit structure. It is designed the same as Zen Pro’s circuit just a little smaller in comparison but it reaches close to Zen Pro in magnetic flux. This upgraded diaphragm and magnetic circuit brings clearer sound with crisp imaging, better energy, and a refined overall sound signature.
