FiiO Wind Pro Over Ear Headphones

The FiiO SNOWSKY WIND PRO brings back the compact on-ear headphones of the 2000s with a modern, grown-up sound. Building on the warm, natural sound of FiiO’s EH11, FiiO refined everything from the acoustics to the finish: a 40mm dynamic driver gives bass impact that rivals larger over-ear headphones, down to 23Hz, a semi-open design keeps the sound airy without leaking much, and at about 77g (with cable) they almost disappear on your head. They come with a second set of ear cushions, support in-line controls and are Hi-Res Audio certified.

A comprehensively upgraded driver

The 40mm high-performance dynamic driver has a soft composite suspension, and FiiO adjusted the diaphragm material to minimise resonance and deliver deeper, fuller bass. The magnetic circuit is optimised for more driving force and better bass control. Around it, FiiO enlarged the front chamber for greater amplitude and redesigned the rear chamber with more resonance space, for full-bodied, authoritative bass, punchy, precise drums and a richly layered soundstage.

Warm, balanced and never tiring

The sound is neutral yet warm, with extra bass and mid-bass atmosphere but balanced across treble, mids and bass, for a classic, relaxed listen that never grows tiring. FiiO recommends it for pop, jazz, country and vocals, including Cantopop and Mandopop.

Semi-open, without the leakage

Specialised vents and acoustic damping filters give extended treble and natural, transparent vocals, and avoid the stuffy feeling of closed-back headphones, so music feels open and effortless over long sessions. Unlike fully open-back designs, the WIND PRO keeps sound leakage low, so you can listen privately in quiet places without disturbing others.

Retro style, all-day comfort

The compact on-ear design is a retro statement piece, the finishing touch to your look. At about 77g it is light and effortless to wear, the adjustable stainless-steel headband contours to your head, and the ear cups swivel to the angle that suits you, improving the fit and the soundstage.

Better built

The 1.2m oxygen-free copper cable now has a fully braided sheath over TPE for durability in daily use, and ends in a sleek metal 3.5mm plug. The all-metal faceplates are finished with a special photolithographic process for a solid, premium texture with fine, even detail. The in-line controls play, pause, skip tracks and change the volume on CTIA-standard devices, which covers most phones and players.

Two pairs of ear cushions

A second pair of cushions comes in the box, so you can change the look to suit your style or replace worn pads easily: the silver WIND PRO comes with orange cushions fitted and the black with black, and both include a grey spare pair. The thick foam gives an excellent seal and a rich sound.

Hi-Res Audio certified

The Japan Audio Society certified the WIND PRO as Hi-Res Audio in March 2026, recognising its ability to reproduce high frequencies up to 40kHz and above.
