FiiO TRUST LT-3.5 Audio Decoding Cable Type C to 3.5mm

The FiiO TRUST LT-3.5 is a USB-C to 3.5mm audio cable with a hi-fi DAC chip built in, so it turns a digital USB-C output into an analogue 3.5mm signal. It supports up to 32-bit/384kHz and comes in 8cm or 100cm lengths.

What it’s for

Use it to give an Android phone or a music player with USB-C output a 3.5mm connection. FiiO pairs it with amplifiers and speakers that have a standard 3.5mm input; the short 8cm version works like a compact dongle.

Good to know

• Because the DAC is inside the cable, it needs a USB-C port that outputs digital audio (USB Audio), as Android phones and most players do.

Silver-plated oxygen-free copper

TRUST cables use high-purity, silver-plated oxygen-free copper, with a shielding layer woven from graphene and pure copper to keep out interference.

Made to be handled

The plug housings are injection-moulded in one piece from engineering plastic, which protects the contacts and stops the cable working loose, and FiiO’s curved “Arc” grip makes them easy to plug in and pull out. A flexible PVC sheath sits under a glossy polyester braid in black, purple and silver, with each core reinforced by 500D nylon filament. FiiO tests TRUST cables with 5,000 plug-in cycles, salt-spray corrosion tests and load-bearing tests.
