IKKO Gems OH1S In-Ear Noise Isolating Monitors

The IKKO Gems OH1S is a hybrid in-ear monitor that pairs a 10mm deposited carbon nano dynamic driver with a Knowles 33518 balanced armature, in a striking shell of resin and aviation-grade aluminium alloy. IKKO’s SVAS acoustic design, physically separated driver cavities and an upgraded silver-plated copper cable give clear highs, full mids and steady bass, and at just 5g per earpiece it is light enough to forget you are wearing it. SVAS: Separating Vector Acoustics System

IKKO’s Separating Vector Acoustics System is a precisely designed cavity structure that optimises sound volume, reflection and diffusion angles, so the drivers can perform at their best in a small space.

One dynamic driver and one Knowles balanced armature

The 32Ω 10mm deposited carbon nano dynamic driver and the Knowles 33518 balanced armature work together for a balanced sound across bass, mids and treble. Their sound cavities are made of resin and aviation-grade aluminium alloy, giving a physical frequency division that keeps the two drivers from interfering with each other, for a purer, more transparent sound. A special resin is also used for efficient sound damping.

Clear highs, full mids, steady bass

IKKO tuned the OH1S for strong treble performance: higher high-frequency resolution, more penetrating treble and better resolution of the very highest notes, with detail restored across the whole frequency range, on top of full mids and steady bass.

Resin and metal, just 5g

Combining resin and metal in one shell was a bold step for IKKO’s designers, and it keeps the weight down: each earpiece weighs only 5g. The oval sound outlet follows the shape of your ear canal for a natural, comfortable fit, so long listening sessions stay comfortable.

An upgraded silver-plated copper cable

The detachable MMCX cable uses 127µm high-purity single-crystal copper, silver-plated, for high-fidelity sound transmission. Its double-strand braid and fully wrapped design stop it tangling and keep it light. It ends in a 3.5mm plug.

Plenty of accessories

Six pairs of silicone eartips and three pairs of foam eartips help you find the right seal, and a storage case, spare protective grids and an IKKO fox brooch complete the set.
