The FiiO KB3 HiFi is a mechanical keyboard with a desktop-grade DAC and headphone amplifier built in, what FiiO calls a “true HiFi” desk keyboard. Two Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs and two low-noise SGM8262 amplifiers deliver up to 550mW from a 4.4mm balanced output, alongside a 3.5mm headset socket, and play PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD256. It is also a USB hub for your mouse and drives, with a gasket-mounted, hot-swappable typing feel, Gateron G Pro 3.0 switches, a stepless volume knob and an aluminium-magnesium alloy case.
A desktop DAC/amp in your keyboard
Plug the KB3 HiFi into your computer and it becomes your sound card. Its “2+2” combination of two CS43131 DACs and two SGM8262 op-amps gives power comparable to a desktop amp: 550mW per channel into 32Ω from the 4.4mm balanced output and 170mW from the 3.5mm, with a 122dB signal-to-noise ratio, so it drives anything from earphones to full-size headphones. It decodes PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256 to bring out the detail in your music.
Driver-free, or ASIO with FiiO’s driver
USB audio works without a driver on Windows 10 and later and on macOS. On Windows, installing FiiO’s KB3 driver adds ASIO output, with sample rates up to 384kHz/24-bit, DSD128 over DoP and native DSD256.
Chat while you game, and tidy your desk
The 3.5mm socket supports 4-pole (TRRS) headsets, so you can talk to teammates while enjoying hi-fi sound. Two USB ports let the KB3 work as a hub for your mouse and USB drives, cutting down on cables.
Built for typing
A gasket mount sandwiches an iron plate between silicone gaskets under the aluminium-magnesium top case, with sound-absorbing foam, IXPE switch foam and a silicone dampener, to absorb shock and reduce noise. Gateron G Pro 3.0 yellow switches suit both work and gaming, and they are hot-swappable, as are the semi-transparent black keycaps.
Knob, media keys and lights
Turn the stepless knob to change the volume and click it to mute. With Fn, F9 to F12 open your player and control previous, play/pause and next, F1–F4 adjust the RGB brightness and effects, and Fn+A or Fn+S switch between Windows and macOS layouts. Four lights on the right show Caps Lock, Win lock, Mac and Windows mode.

- This is the HiFi edition. The KB3 Wireless adds 2.4GHz and Bluetooth but has no DAC or headphone outputs.
