Shanling ME600 Hybrid In Ear Monitors

The Shanling ME600 is a three-way hybrid in-ear monitor with five drivers per side: two 6mm dynamic drivers for bass, two custom balanced armatures for the midrange and a dedicated balanced-armature tweeter. A tubeless design with two Helmholtz resonators, new to Shanling earphones, gives a warmer, smoother sound with deep, hard-hitting bass, and three swappable nozzles let you tune the balance. Gold-plated stainless steel, a sculpted aluminium faceplate and a silver-plated copper cable with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs complete it.

A new, fluid design

The ME600’s flowing shape is inspired by modern architecture, turning some of the world’s most striking buildings into small marvels for your ears.

Aluminium and stainless steel

On the outside, the faceplate is precisely machined from 6000-series aluminium and anodised for a smooth, elegant look. The inner body is CNC-machined from high-gloss stainless steel, hand-polished and gold-plated for an extra sense of luxury.

Bass: two dynamic drivers

A pair of new custom 6mm dynamic drivers with special bio-diaphragms, dual N48 neodymium magnets and pure copper voice coils gives deep-reaching, full-sounding bass with tremendous control and improved resolution, helped by two Helmholtz resonators.

Midrange: custom balanced armatures

A dual balanced-armature assembly, made for Shanling’s demands for high detail and excellent channel matching, gives smooth-sounding instruments and lush vocals.

Treble: a balanced-armature tweeter

A single tweeter sits right at the nozzle for the highest clarity and extended treble, while keeping the sound pleasantly smooth and even. A custom PCB crossover divides the frequencies between the three ways.

Three tuning nozzles

• Full sound (red ring): enhanced bass and smooth treble.
• Clear (white ring): improved clarity with extra energy.
• Balanced (black ring): neutral and highly universal.

A quad-core silver-plated cable

The quad-core cable is made of monocrystalline copper wires with silver plating in a Litz geometry. Interchangeable plugs switch easily between 3.5mm and 4.4mm, and industry-standard MMCX connectors attach it to the earphones.

A new level of comfort

The ME600 follows Shanling’s new earphone design, with shallower shells that fill more of the ear for better stability and comfort. It is based on extensive research into ear shapes, to suit the vast majority of listeners. It is certified Hi-Res Audio, with a frequency range up to 40kHz.
