Read the full description
The HiFiMAN Arya WiFi is the open-back Arya planar magnetic headphone with its own streamer, R2R DAC and amplifier built in. It streams lossless music over WiFi at up to 768kHz or DSD512, connects by Bluetooth with LDAC or by USB, and needs no separate DAC or amplifier: genuine freedom from the desktop hi-fi stack.
Why WiFi, not just Bluetooth?
Bluetooth’s real-world bandwidth is well below 1Mbps, roughly the equivalent of MP3, and the Bluetooth chip also handles sound processing. High-definition streaming needs dozens of Mbps. WiFi has far more bandwidth, so it can carry high-bitrate, high-resolution lossless audio straight to the headphones from your music apps, with support for most online music platforms.
HYMALAYA Mini DAC, built in
HiFiMAN shrank the all-in-one idea of its Serenade streaming DAC into the headphone. Its own HYMALAYA Mini R2R DAC, with separate left and right DAC chips just 8 × 7.5mm, sits on a compact board with a power module, the streaming module, a low-pass filter and the headphone amplifier, which drives the planar drivers directly so conversion, amplification and driver are tuned as one system.
Arya planar driver
The magnetic structure combines HiFiMAN’s enhanced magnets and Stealth Magnets in equal measure. The NEO Supernano Diaphragm Gen.2, with its conductive plating, is only 60% as thick as the first generation; its lower moving mass responds quickly and accurately, and the planar design spreads the driving force across the whole diaphragm for low distortion.
New composite headband
The second-generation composite headband saves 20–30g and has rotatable hinges for a more comfortable fit.
Wireless and wired
- WiFi streaming: play online music from your apps, PCM 44.1–768kHz (16/24/32-bit) and native DSD64–DSD512.
- High-definition Bluetooth: LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC.
- USB Audio: a direct digital connection to computers and phones over USB-C.
The USB-C port and the power, function and volume buttons are on the ear cups.

Good to know
- Keep the headphones on the same network as your phone or computer, without firewall isolation. HiFiMAN recommends a fast connection (5GHz or better) and a single router node: Mesh Wi-Fi works, but handovers between nodes can cause drop-outs.
- In the box: Arya WiFi with ear pads fitted, and a USB cable.
- For the flagship version see the HiFiMAN HE1000 WiFi.
