The FiiO ESTICK is a compact mobile power supply made for FiiO’s KA17 and QX13 DAC/amps. It pairs with them perfectly and gives them their own independent power supply, so they don’t drain the battery of the phone or other device they are plugged into, and it gives them up to 5 hours of extra listening. FiiO also names it as a power source for the QX11’s Desktop Mode. It weighs about 30.8g and comes in a choice of colours.
Pure power for a purer sound
The output circuit uses AVX low-ESR tantalum capacitors for a stable, pure supply with less power ripple, which FiiO says leads to a purer, more detailed sound. Charging is managed by an SW6003 chip.
Compact size, long battery life
The 1,100mAh lithium-ion battery (4.1Wh) gives the KA17 or QX13 up to 5 hours of power. A button switches the ESTICK on and off, and four LEDs show its battery level at a glance, so you can enjoy uninterrupted music. It has a USB-C plug and a USB-C socket for charging and output, and charges at 5V/1A.
Which FiiO DACs it works with
- FiiO KA17: one of the two DACs the ESTICK was designed for.
- FiiO QX13: connects to its POWER IN port, with a charging setting for the ESTICK in the QX13’s menu.
- FiiO QX11: FiiO names the ESTICK as a portable power source for the QX11’s Desktop Mode, which raises its output to up to 800mW + 800mW.
