The DUNU Alpha 3 is a flagship-level flat-head earbud: the classic open earbud shape, built around a large 14.2mm custom dynamic driver with a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) composite diaphragm and independent suspension. An invisible surround vent system on the back of the shell and an inner cavity tuned against reflections give a big, clear and detailed sound with strong bass, from stainless steel and aluminium alloy shells. Choose a 3.5mm or 4.4mm balanced cable.
A massive driver
DUNU designed the Alpha 3 around a large, custom-developed 14.2mm dynamic driver. Its LCP composite diaphragm is light yet rigid, and with its independent suspension it produces a massive, big sound with excellent clarity and outstanding detail.
Invisible surround vents
For truly high-resolution sound, DUNU gave the Alpha 3 a surround, multi-channel acoustic vent design. The vents sit on the back of the shell, hidden by the edge of the earbud, so you can’t see them.
Bass and dynamics
An independent acoustic cavity structure enhances low frequencies and dynamics, and a specially designed inner cavity greatly reduces standing-wave reflections inside the shell. The result is a pure sound with a strong low end and refined detail.
Crafted shells and cable
The cavities are made of high-quality stainless steel and aluminium alloy, in a rich black finish with the DUNU logo engraved on the back, and the shape is optimised for comfortable wear. The cable is fixed, in high-purity silver-plated monocrystalline Type 1 Litz copper, and ends in either a 3.5mm or a 4.4mm balanced plug.
