The Westone W10 v2 are compact in-ear earphones for music lovers, with a specially tuned, full-range single balanced armature driver for detail and clarity from any audio or video device. Two cables come in the box: a wired cable with a three-button remote and microphone, and Westone’s aptX Bluetooth cable, so you can switch between wired and wireless listening.
True-Fit comfort
Westone’s 60 years of experience designing products for the ear have produced a universal-fit earpiece that is compact, low-profile, light and very comfortable. Westone’s own eartips, five pairs of patented STAR silicone tips and five pairs of True-Fit foam tips, give a good fit and seal straight out of the box, blocking up to 25dB of outside noise.
A balanced-armature driver
Westone’s proprietary balanced-armature driver gives enhanced detail and an extended frequency range, with 122dB SPL at 1mW sensitivity, a 20Hz–16kHz response and 19Ω impedance.
The Westone Bluetooth cable
The full-resolution Bluetooth cable uses aptX for detail, clarity and a dynamic soundstage. It plays for about 8 hours on a charge, reaches about 10m, is rated IPX4 against water and dust, and uses Westone’s MMCX Audio connectors, so it also works with other custom-fit or universal-fit MMCX earpieces.
A three-button cable with microphone
The 1.4m (55-inch) MFi cable with MMCX Audio connectors has a microphone and controller for iPhone, iPod and iPad: volume up and down, track forward and back, answering calls and Siri.
