The Shanling Moria is the first member of Shanling’s “Tree of Life” range of high-end earphones, inspired by ancient Greece and named after the olive trees Athena gave to its people. A single 10.2mm dynamic driver with a 60-layer titanium-coated diaphragm sits in a triple-chamber, CNC-machined titanium housing with crystallised titanium faceplates, for a fast, coherent and detailed sound, and a 5N silver-plated cable with a 4.4mm balanced plug is included.
60-layer titanium coating
The diaphragm is Shanling’s most advanced yet: 60 layers of precise titanium coating on a PEEK base, combining high rigidity with flexibility. Direct-current sputtering, a low-temperature vacuum coating process, gives unprecedented accuracy of layering and better bonding between the materials, for improved resolution and speed.
Triple acoustic chamber, dual-magnet driver
Three acoustic chambers, one in front of the driver and two behind, divide the airflow and carefully control the sound waves, for better coherence between bass, mids and treble. A single driver covers the whole range, with no crossover.
Fully titanium, compact housing
Each housing is CNC-machined for hours from a single piece of titanium: extremely durable and ultra-light. Titanium also suppresses stray vibrations and helps the sound flow. The compact single-driver design and optimised ergonomics give a comfortable, secure fit for long sessions, at 7.6g per earphone.
Crystallised titanium faceplates
The faceplates start as pure titanium plates, heated to 1,200°C and slowly cooled until the metal changes from its β to α phase. The result looks like ice crystals, and every faceplate has its own unique pattern and colours.
5N silver-plated cable
The custom cable starts with long-crystal oxygen-free copper, silver-plated for better tone separation and refinement, in a Type 2 Litz build with a 3:1 twisting ratio, interleaved twisting and gold-plated connectors. Standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors make it easy to replace.

- The cable has a 4.4mm balanced plug. For a 3.5mm source, use a 2-pin cable with a 3.5mm plug or an adapter.
