Read the full description
The Shanling CD-T35 is a flagship tube CD player and streamer, made to celebrate 35 years of Shanling hi-fi. It brings together some of the best-sounding parts from Shanling’s history, a Philips CD-Pro 2 drive and two AKM AK4499EQ DACs, with four matched 12AU7 tubes, a modern Android streaming system and the legendary three-legged design of the original Shanling T300.
Part CD player, part collector’s item
Shanling made the T35 as a limited run of 99 units. Its unique three-legged design, made famous by the original T300, is reborn for a new age, with a bold chassis and illuminated legs that make it the centrepiece of a high-end system.
Legacy parts, the best of hi-fi
The Philips CD-Pro 2 mechanism and AK4499EQ DACs are sought-after parts that are no longer made, combined here for the last time in one high-fidelity machine. Shanling pairs them with a high-end split power supply that feeds the analogue and digital sections separately for the right balance of clean, stable power, with transformers chosen by its most experienced listeners.
Tube or transistor output
Four carefully matched 12AU7 tubes and Shanling’s own I/V conversion stage give a rich, smooth and highly musical sound, tuned with 35 years of experience for both smoothness and high resolution. Or choose the transistor output for the lowest distortion. Both are available on the RCA and XLR outputs.
Streaming built in
A deeply customised Android system on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, adjusted for hi-fi, brings streaming apps such as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Qobuz and Deezer alongside your CDs. It also plays from a USB drive, works as a USB DAC and receives Bluetooth 5.0. Control it from the touch screen, the supplied remote or Shanling’s Eddict Player app on iOS and Android, which controls every aspect of the T35.
