The ONIX Miracle is a high-end streamer stack, “hi-fi without boundaries”, designed by ONIX and made by Shanling: the XM10 streamer and portable player, the XP10 DAC and headphone amplifier, and the XPS10 adjustable linear power supply. At home the XM10 docks on top of the XP10 as its streamer; when you go out, you take the XM10 with you, so the music never has to stop. Each part is designed to work with the others for the most versatile system possible.
Classic ONIX look
CNC-machined construction with a gold-plated volume wheel and other details recalls the origins of the ONIX brand, and the compact vertical design suits any desk.
XM10 streamer and portable player
The XM10 runs an open Android 10 on a Snapdragon 665 with a 6-inch 2160 × 1080 touchscreen and hardware buttons, so every streaming service and music app is available. Docked on the XP10, it sends audio over an optimised USB connection with accurate clocking and reduced jitter, thanks to FPGA technology and KDS crystal oscillators. On its own it is a portable player with an AKM AK4493SEQ DAC and two Ricore RT6863 amplifiers: 125mW into 32Ω from the 3.5mm output and 230mW through the supplied 4.4mm balanced adapter, two-way Bluetooth 5.0 and up to 18 hours from its 3,350mAh battery.
XP10 DAC and headphone amplifier
The XP10 uses ESS’s flagship eight-channel ES9039PRO DAC with ONIX’s in-house “Brighton” I/V stage based on the OPA1611, an OPA2211 low-pass filter and two PGA2311 chips for precise 254-step volume control. Its fully balanced transistor amplifier gives up to 5.6W into 32Ω (0.85W into 300Ω) balanced, with highly adjustable gain for a wide range of headphones. An Ingenic X2000 platform and a 3.18-inch touchscreen add Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC and playback from USB drives, so the XP10 can also be a complete music system on its own, controlled by the Eddict Player app.
XPS10 linear power supply
Designed as the XP10’s companion, the XPS10 uses two Nordic Noratel 30W toroidal transformers and an output you can set anywhere from 12V to 24V, with micro-adjustments in 0.1V steps. From the mellow sound of 12V to the highly dynamic 24V, it lets you tune the overall sound to match your headphones or speakers.
