The iBasso SR3 is an open-back dynamic headphone for music, podcasts or studio work. Its drivers combine biocellulose dome diaphragms, a silicone suspension and Tesla magnets for clear, precise sound and a natural, immersive soundstage, so you can pick out the micro-details in anything from Bach to techno. It comes with a detachable 4.4mm balanced cable, a 6.35mm adapter, a hard case and spare pads.
Biocellulose drivers with Tesla magnets
Biocellulose domes are light and stiff, and a silicone suspension lets them move freely. Strong Tesla magnets and a copper-clad aluminium wire (CCAW) voice coil control them precisely, and the open back gives the sound room to breathe, for a presentation close to hearing the music live.
Comfortable for long sessions
The SR3 is light for a full-size open headphone, with soft ear pads and an adjustable leather headband for extended listening, and a spare set of pads comes in the box.
Balanced cable and adapter
The detachable 1.6m cable is silver-plated single-crystal copper with a 4.4mm balanced plug, and a 4.4mm to 6.35mm adapter lets you use it with an ordinary single-ended headphone socket, whatever amplifier output you have.
