The HiFiMAN Sundara Closed-Back brings the heritage of HiFiMAN’s classic Sundara to a new closed-back design, with a huge soundstage like that of open planar headphones. Hand-assembled beechwood ear cups isolate you from background noise and bring out the natural bass of the original recording, and it shares the Sundara’s Stealth Magnets and NEO supernano diaphragm. At 20Ω and 98dB it is easy to drive.
Stealth Magnets
Compared with the rectangular magnets of traditional planar headphones, HiFiMAN’s Stealth Magnets greatly reduce the reflections and diffraction that harm sound quality, for dramatically improved sound.
NEO supernano diaphragm
The NsD is 80% thinner than the diaphragms in more common headphones, giving a fast response and a detailed image with lush, full-range sound, and an ultra-wide 6Hz–50kHz frequency response that reveals the fine points of well-recorded music.
Beechwood ear cups
Designed by HiFiMAN’s engineers, the hand-assembled wood-grain ear cups offer the dual benefit of exceptional sound and stylish good looks.
Classic ergonomic headband
The lightweight headband has a black matte finish for style and comfort.
Standard cable connections
A detachable dual-sided 3.5mm cable comes with a 6.35mm adapter for a wide range of devices.
