Read the full description
The FiiO SNOWSKY RETRO NANO is the debut product of SNOWSKY, FiiO’s youthful, fun sub-brand: a Bluetooth DAC and headphone amp styled like a vintage tape recorder, with plenty of modern tech inside. It receives LDAC and aptX Adaptive, has two Cirrus Logic CS43131 DACs with up to 220mW from its 4.4mm output, works as a USB DAC, and runs on a swappable battery, so a spare keeps you going. It weighs just 28.3g and won a VGP 2025 Summer award.
Truly stylish
Classic white or blue bodies can be decorated with the included personalised stickers (two sets, chosen at random) for an even more vintage feel. The 0.96-inch colour screen has several fun interfaces, including a turning tape, changed with a single press.
Endless power
A replaceable, rechargeable 3.7V lithium battery (a FiiO 450mAh cell of 10440 size) lasts up to 7.5 hours and charges in up to 2 hours; when it runs out, swap in a fresh one. With no battery at all, it runs straight from USB power, switching on and off as you plug in and unplug, which suits a car or active speakers without any worry about battery ageing or extreme temperatures.
Sounds of past eras
Eight sound presets include specially tuned retro ones that recall the sound of past eras, and you can create your own tunings in the FiiO Control app or on the web.
Bluetooth and wired modes
Switch on with a single touch and connect a phone, tablet or computer over Bluetooth or USB-C. Double-press the multi-function button to switch between BT, PC and PHONE modes. A Qualcomm QCC5125 (CPU + DSP dual-core) brings Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX, AAC and SBC, and 96kHz hi-res sound in both Bluetooth and wired modes; over USB it is a driver-free DAC.
Nano-sized, mega capable
Two high-performance CS43131 DACs and their amplifiers produce up to 220mW per channel into 32Ω from the 4.4mm balanced output (100mW from 3.5mm), with a 128dB signal-to-noise ratio, a noise floor under 1µV and distortion below 0.0018%. Alongside the 4.4mm socket, the 3.5mm jack supports CTIA in-line controls and microphones for music, calls and games, with noise reduction on calls.
Endless ways to play
Turn on car mode (FiiO patent ZL201710563549.5) to make every journey more fun; use it as a sound card for your computer; switch to PC or PHONE mode for PS5, Switch and other consoles; or plug in active speakers to turn them into Bluetooth speakers. The FiiO Control app unlocks more features and over-the-air updates.
