The FiiO RR11 is a pocket FM radio with retro charm: a 13mm-thin aluminium body about the size of a lighter, a scroll wheel that recreates the feel of analogue tuning, a Silicon Labs Si4831 radio chip and a built-in signal antenna. FiiO gave it a hi-fi circuit with BASS and 3D sound effects, and with the included cable it also works as a headphone amplifier for your phone. Retro-style JF11 earbuds are in the box. It won VGP 2025 Summer awards, including the Planning Award.
Retro yet modern
At just 83.2 × 39.4 × 13mm, the RR11 is about the size of a lighter, with an aluminium alloy body and knob. FiiO describes it as an affordable, pocket-sized radio for anyone who still feels the pull of sound waves.
Tune by feel
The scroll wheel is designed to recreate analogue tuning: lock onto a station with a flick of your finger and feel the tuning in a way digital tuners can’t match. (How many stations you find depends on the broadcasts and signal strength where you are.)
Clear, stable reception
The Silicon Labs Si4831 FM chip gives clearer, more stable reception and picks up a wider range of stations, from the early news to late-night music. As well as using your earphone cable as an aerial, the RR11 has a built-in high-performance PCB signal gain antenna, so its small size doesn’t compromise reception.

Hi-fi radio, with BASS and 3D
Drawing on nearly 18 years of audio development, FiiO gave the RR11 a carefully designed hi-fi circuit. A custom DDB analogue sound-effect and amplifier chip offers two effects: MAGIC BASS 1, a bass boost, and MAGIC BASS 2, bass boost with 3D surround for more immersive listening.
It’s also a headphone amp
Connect your phone with the included USB-C to USB-C digital-to-analogue cable and switch to AMP: the RR11 becomes a dongle-style headphone amplifier with more output power (up to 40mW per channel into 32Ω) and its sound effects, for music or online radio.
Battery or mains power
A 300mAh battery plays the radio for more than 8.5 hours, or more than 17.5 hours in amp mode, and you can listen while it charges. Orange-yellow retro indicators show stereo reception, tuning and battery status at a glance.
