Read the full description
The FiiO Jade Audio JW1 are open true wireless earbuds: rather than sealing your ear canal, they sit just outside it, held by ear hooks, so you stay aware of the world around you. JadeAudio’s first consumer audio product makes no compromises on sound, with a large 14.2mm dynamic driver tuned for robust bass and a big, natural soundstage that FiiO says beats bone-conduction headphones. Bluetooth 5.3, touch controls, a built-in microphone, water and sweat resistance and up to 18 hours of listening with the case complete the package.
Comfortable, secure and open
JadeAudio designed the JW1 around comfort from the start. The ear-hook design cleverly balances its forces around several points, so it sits securely on ears of different shapes, and each earbud weighs about 9.5g.
For workouts, commutes and everyday listening
The stable fit suits the gym, the commute or a walk, and the earbuds resist water and sweat. As FiiO puts it, even seasoned audiophiles may find them a good extra companion for relaxed listening alongside their hi-fi.
A big driver for a full sound
A large 14.2mm dynamic driver, carefully tuned by an established acoustic team, gives robust bass and a large, natural soundstage: better sound quality, FiiO says, than bone-conduction headphones.
Bluetooth 5.3 and all-day battery
Bluetooth 5.3 gives fast, stable connections, with SBC and AAC codecs and a range of about 10 metres. The earbuds play for up to 6 hours per charge, and the slim case adds about 12 hours more, for up to 18 hours in all (FiiO’s figures, measured with SBC at full phone volume). Earbuds and case each recharge in about 1½ hours over USB-C.

Good to know
- Open earbuds don’t block outside noise, so you stay aware of traffic when running or cycling; for the same reason, others nearby may hear your music at high volume.
- The JW1 connects to one device at a time and isn’t supported by the FiiO Control app.
- In the box: JW1 earbuds, charging case, USB-C cable, protective bag and quick start guide.
