The FiiO FH5s is a four-driver hybrid in-ear monitor and a true upgrade on FiiO’s best-selling FH5: as FiiO puts it, the student has surpassed the master. Two beryllium-plated dynamic drivers (12mm for bass, 6mm for mids) and a Knowles dual balanced armature for treble sit in a semi-open, CNC-machined aluminium-magnesium shell, and three tuning switches give eight sound profiles. A silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable with swappable 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs is included. It is Hi-Res Audio certified and won VGP awards in 2022 and 2024.
A new 2+2 driver architecture
Where the original FH5 used a balanced armature for the mids, the FH5s has a dedicated midrange dynamic driver, for better vocals and soundstage. The two dynamic drivers join bass and mids more smoothly, cover a wider range and create more atmosphere.

Tuning built on experience
FiiO’s headphones are sold in more than 70 countries, and FiiO says the user feedback it has gathered shaped the FH5s, its best work to date. An electronic crossover divides the low, mid, high and ultra-high frequencies precisely between the drivers, for robust bass, clear vocals and detailed treble that doesn’t tire.
Three switches, eight sounds
The default tuning suits most listeners, but three switches on each earpiece adjust the bass, mids and treble, giving eight combinations to match your music or your taste.
Semi-open, with a supercar-style shell
The semi-open rear cavity, refined with computer simulation, balances the air pressure in front and behind the drivers for a larger soundstage, more comfortable listening and a natural sound. FiiO’s TRISHELL “sandwich” design fixes the 5-axis CNC-machined aluminium-magnesium alloy rear shell, body and front cover together at three points, like a supercar’s rigid chassis, to cut unwanted resonance and distortion. The faceplate combines open mesh with layered “dragon scale” styling, in black and gold or silver and gold, and the third-generation ergonomic shape fits comfortably around the ear.
One cable, three plugs
The four-strand, 120-core Litz cable is high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated copper, with expanded MMCX connectors marked blue and red for left and right. Twist-lock 316L stainless steel plugs in 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm let one cable suit almost any source.
