Read the full description
The ONIX OC93 is a high-end CD player, network streamer and DAC in one. A Philips CDM4 drive and an AKM AK4497EQ DAC play CDs, and a 7-inch touch screen gives access to streaming services, NAS and USB drives. Digital inputs let other sources use its DAC, with balanced XLR and RCA outputs.
CD player and DAC
The AK4497EQ DAC and a Cirrus Logic CS8416 digital receiver serve the Philips CDM4 drive and the digital inputs: coaxial, optical, AES/EBU and an XMOS XU216 USB input for computers, up to 768kHz/32-bit and DSD256.
Streamer
ONIX’s in-house Android system, on the 7-inch touch screen, includes streaming services and plays from USB drives and network storage. AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth 5.0 add wireless playback, and the Eddict Player app controls it from a phone or tablet.
