Dunu TITAN S2 Dual Chamber Dynamic Driver Earphones

The DUNU Titan S2 is an affordable single dynamic driver in-ear monitor, professionally tuned for a smooth, natural sound. Its dual-chamber driver is driven by two magnetic circuits and has a high-rigidity dome with a flexible suspension surround. The chrome-plated, all-metal shells resist scratches, and DUNU’s Q-Lock Mini system swaps between the included 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced plugs without changing the cable.

Dual-chamber, dual-magnet driver

The acoustic core is precisely configured, with dual-chamber response adjustment and dual magnetic circuits driving the driver. Its composite diaphragm pairs a dome of high-rigidity material, with a high damping coefficient, with a longer-travel flexible surround and a high-tension voice coil, for an authentic, natural frequency response, rapid transients and precise reproduction under all conditions.

Internal and external magnetic circuits drive the unit together. DUNU says this increases energy output, improves response across the whole frequency range and makes the Titan S2 easier to drive, so it sounds consistently good from many devices.

Smooth frequency response

With the dual-magnet, dual-chamber driver, careful foundational design and acoustic tuning, DUNU describes the Titan S2 as having flagship-grade acoustic performance and fidelity, with a smooth response, measured on a B&K 4195.

Chrome-plated metal shells

The sturdy housings are made of high-density alloy with chromium plating, for durability and scratch resistance while keeping their mirror finish.

Q-Lock Mini plugs and OCC cable

DUNU’s Q-Lock Mini interchangeable plug system comes with both a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced plug, so you can switch to balanced output without changing cables. The premium 1.2m cable has four strands of OCC copper and silver-plated OCC copper Litz wire, in a nylon shock-absorbing mesh, for solid construction and pure sound. It detaches at standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, for broad compatibility and durability.

Four kinds of ear tips

• S&S: all flexible silicone, with straight walls for the outer umbrella and the duct, for a better soundstage and studio-grade reproduction.
• Candy: a flexible silicone umbrella with thickened ducts for support, for more atmospheric presence and vocal density.
• Balanced (grey): DUNU’s official standard tips, balanced and straightforward with precise reproduction, for a wide range of music.
• Atmosphere Enhancement (red duct): boost the bass and the atmospheric presence of pop music.
