Cassette Players

Tapes are back, and FiiO has given the cassette player the attention it deserved. The CP13 is a portable cassette player with a precision motor for steady speed, a clean, high-output analogue stage for today's headphones, a 3.5mm headphone socket and USB-C charging. It plays your tapes exactly as they were recorded, with no digital conversion in between.

Why a cassette player now?

Part of it is the music that only ever came out on tape. Part of it is the ritual: turning the cassette over, the click of the buttons, the artwork in your hand. Like our portable CD players, the CP13 is for people who want to own their music and listen to it on purpose.

We also stock the cassette-style case for the FiiO M21 player, for a little nostalgia with your hi-res files.
