1. About us
"AMP3", "we" and "us" means Advanced Players Ltd, trading as AMP3 and Advanced MP3 Players, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC242972). VAT number GB790281912. Our address is Suite 1, Alexander House, Eskmills Park, Station Road, Musselburgh, EH21 7PB, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@amp3.co.uk, on 0343 289 6880 (Monday to Friday, 9:30am–4pm) or through our Contact us page.
2. Your order and when our contract starts
Our product pages describe the main features of each item. The price, any delivery charge and the order total are shown before you place your order. When you place an order, we send an email confirming that we've received it. This is not yet acceptance.
Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation. Until then we may decline your order, for example if the item is no longer available or if a price or product description on our website is wrong. If we decline your order, we'll tell you and refund or release any payment in full.
If you notice a mistake in your order, contact us as soon as possible and before it is dispatched.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where it applies. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and UnionPay cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and Klarna. The methods available to you are shown at checkout. We take payment when you place your order. If we can't dispatch it, we refund you in full. Klarna and PayPal payments follow their own terms.
Pre-orders and back-orders. If an item isn't in stock yet, you can order it without paying upfront. Our payment provider, Shopify Payments, saves your card securely, and we take the payment when the item arrives with us, before we dispatch it. Any in-stock items in the same order are paid for when you place it. The payment methods available for these orders are shown at checkout. If the expected date changes, we'll let you know. You can cancel at any time before we take the payment, at no cost. If the payment doesn't go through, we'll contact you to arrange another way to pay.
You can also pay by bank transfer. We'll send you the details, and dispatch your order once the payment has reached us.
4. Delivery
We deliver to the UK, the EU and many other countries. The destinations, services, charges and estimated times available for your order are shown at checkout.
UK: free next-day delivery on eligible orders over £50 placed before 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Next-day delivery is counted from dispatch.
Outside the UK: your order may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs charges in the destination country. These are payable by you unless checkout says otherwise.
Unless we agree a different time with you, we'll deliver without undue delay and within 30 days. The goods are our responsibility until they reach you, or someone you've named to receive them.
5. Your right to cancel (change of mind)
You can cancel your order without giving a reason. Tell us within 14 days, starting the day after you receive the goods. If your order arrives in separate deliveries, the 14 days start the day after the last item arrives. You then have 14 days from telling us to send the goods back. No products we sell are excluded from this right.
To cancel, use our Returns Centre, contact us, or send us any clear statement, for example using the form below. We provide a free return label for change-of-mind returns notified within 14 days, including for orders delivered outside the UK, as explained in our Returns Policy.
We'll refund you without undue delay, and within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that you've sent them, whichever is sooner. The refund includes standard delivery for a whole-order cancellation (not any extra charge for a faster delivery option you chose). We may reduce the refund if the value of the goods has gone down because you handled them more than was needed to check them. We refund using your original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
If you return part of an order that had a bundle or multi-buy discount, we refund what you paid for the items you send back. If the items you keep no longer qualify for that discount, we'll take the discount off your refund or store credit, and tell you how we worked it out. This never applies when an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
The goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us. Depending on when the fault appears, you can be entitled to reject the goods for a refund, or to a repair or replacement, or to a price reduction or a final right to reject.
We provide a free return label for faulty items within the first 30 days after delivery, and your rights continue beyond 30 days. Our Returns Policy explains the process. Manufacturer warranties are in addition to these rights.
7. Questions and complaints
Email hello@amp3.co.uk, call 0343 289 6880, use our Contact us page, or write to us at the address in section 1. Please include your order number. We'll keep you updated while we look into it.
8. Your legal rights and the law that applies
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the place where you live, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.
