How to choose

• Headphone impedance and sensitivity: planar and high-impedance headphones want more power; our product pages show the output into 32Ω and 300Ω where the maker publishes it.
• Inputs: USB for a computer; coaxial and optical for a CD transport or TV; Bluetooth on some models.
• Outputs: 6.35mm and balanced 4.4mm or XLR for headphones, plus line or pre-out for active speakers.
