iBasso DX300 High Resolution Digital Audio Player
With the new DX300 iBasso has achieved a sleek and elegant looking premium flagship device with replaceable amp modules. The AMP11 module that comes preinstalled on the player has three audio-out ports, 3.5mm single-ended, 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced ports. All these can also provide line-out functionality.
High-Fidelity Audio Chipset
The iBasso DX300 is equipped with a high-fidelity quad DAC setup featuring four high-performance CS43198 DAC chips. CS43198 is a next-generation low power consuming audio decoding chip that provides outstanding decoding capabilities. These are arranged in parallel architecture (two for each channel) with eight independent low-pass filters to make a complete balanced output. This provides a superbly detailed distortion-free sound output.
FPGA Master Technology
iBasso has designed a special FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) Chip for the DX300. Usually, Android devices do not prioritize music playback as the main process. The FPGA chip works between the SoC and the DAC chip. It is dedicated to requesting data from the SoC, then sending that data to the DAC. iBasso has designed it in such a manner that it works in master mode during the entire audio processing using two Accusilicone Femtosecond oscillators reducing any jitter or distortion in the output. This removes any kind of interference from the Android system in the output.
High-Grade Power Management
Power supply plays a crucial role in an audio system. It can break the output quality if not implemented properly. iBasso has innovatively used separate power supplies for the digital and analogue circuit with independent management systems. A dedicated battery powers the analogue section, and the same goes for the digital circuitry. This ensures no electrical disturbance and provides clean power to the circuits.
Replaceable AMP Modules – The powerful AMP11 standard modular
iBasso has previously implemented replaceable amp modules in its portable audio players. What is new with the DX300 is that they have now redesigned the whole replaceable module in a sleek and elegant design. The player comes bundled with the AMP11 module that houses 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced ports as well as a 3.5mm single-ended port. Power supply +/- 8V, enabling a constant energy supply for the AMP portion. The transistor has a max power supply of 2.7 A, enabling peak signal processing. DX300 has a max level output of 7.1Vrms, and because it benefits from the independent power supply, it outputs 1240 mW at 32 Ω.
Lightning-Fast Snapdragon SoC
The iBasso DX300 offers a super smooth user interface with a lightning-fast Snapdragon 660 processor. It is paired with 6 GB RAM for smooth application performance. The DX300 also comes with 128 GB of internal storage and is expandable with micro-SD cards up to 2TB.
5th gen Mango OS + Open Android 9.0
DX300 has its own Linux-based audio dedicated system - the 5th gen Mango OS. With the help of Qualcomm 660 GPU, it functions as smoothly as Android systems. DX300 also comes with the open Android 9.0 system, one of the best OS in any major DAPs. It will allow you to install any streaming services APK-files and enjoy countless hours of music.
Bluetooth 5.0 + 5G WiFi 2x2 MIMO
DX300 has upgraded internal antennas. The 5G WiFi implements the 2x2 MIMO antennas, with 2 input and 2 output channels, enabling a massive update in signal transmission speed and volume. The DX300 also supports Bluetooth 5.0.
