An AKM AK4493S DAC gives a warm, natural sound, and two SGM8262 amplifiers deliver up to 836mW into 32Ω. It also rips CDs to a USB drive, transmits Bluetooth and works as a USB DAC. It is a simpler version of the valve-equipped EC Zero T.

Skip-free CD playback

The active magnetic clamp keeps adjusting its position and pressure on the disc, which steadies the spin and cuts mechanical noise and vibration. A compact custom CD drive plays every CD gaplessly. Shanling designed the anti-shake systems for walking as well as sitting, with the player flat or upright, and every unit is tested and calibrated in production.

Sound and outputs

The AK4493S DAC feeds two SGM8262 headphone amplifiers with 100-step volume control, enough for sensitive earbuds and full-size headphones.
