FiiO designed an independent, low-noise, high-current power supply for the CS43131’s built-in amplifiers, raising the balanced output by 282% over the BTR3K to 220mW per channel into 32Ω, enough for any portable use; the 3.5mm output gives 100mW. The 4.4mm balanced socket is more common and more durable than the BTR3K’s 2.5mm one.
