Sizing:

How to Measure Your Foot: Foot shapes and sizes can vary greatly. Fivefingers do provide some adjustment, but may not fit every foot type. For best results in finding your size we recommend measuring both feet, heel to toe:

   1. Standing with your heels against a flat wall
   2. Slide ruler under each foot and measure the longest toe
   3. Take the longer of the two measurements
   4. If your foot length varies by more than .4cm, it will be difficult to get a precise fit for both feet.
   5. If your second toe is more than .4cm longer than your big toe, it will be difficult to get a precise fit.

Alaster Smith(Date Added: Tuesday 23 September, 2008) This is my second pair of Fivefingers, so you can easily judge that I rate them. My first pair was the classic in my normal shoe size - 43. I loved these and spent virtually three weeks of summer holidays in them. Walking was fine and I never had any pain at all. I wanted to run, however, and they seemed a little too lose. On hard cornering the heels would fold over so I ordered the Sprints, designed to stop this. I also went for the size smaller. These things are just magic, its like nothing I can describe - maybe having grippy feet or something. They feel so natural I forget I'm in them, except that people do stare and some even ask about them. I have started to run seriously in them - as in over 5 miles off-road - and they are great. Although your feet feel the wet very quickly these feel more comfortable than ordinary trainers, and better than fell shoes on all but the muddiest of conditions. In synopsis, buy them for yourself, then buy them for everyone you know. Eventually the whole population will wear them and big healed shoes will seem so last year. Don't let anyone tell you that you need a heal for cushioning or to walk 'normally' - it's just received nonsense with no basis - these shoes let you walk like nature intended, but with fewer cuts to your feet.
