	David Hallsworth(Date Added: Wednesday 24 March, 2010) After a couple of really poor quality 'cheaper' replacement batteries for my 3g ipod I plumped for this one and what a difference. My ipod is like new again. A very good product with good instructions.

The battery was easy enough to install (the included video guide was pretty clear), quite a job getting the iPod open - once you've got the supplied tool in, it might be useful to wedge it open a bit more with something else bluntish and handy. Still, like I say, easy enough. As for the battery performance, my 3rd gen iPod 40gb has NEVER had this much battery. I can be down to a quarter of the charge bar and I know I'll still be good for a day or two before I have to charge it again. I'd estimate about 8-10hrs depending on how much you skip tracks, but I've been listening to big audiobook files and it's been just going and going. Really glad I could breathe new life into my lovely 3G iPod - they just don't make 'em like that anymore! Heartily recommended.

	Richard Thompson(Date Added: Thursday 13 September, 2007) Prompt delivery of sealed product. The bundled CD contains a video of how to remove the back of the iPod. It is a good idea to place a strip of Sellotape over the hold switch before starting to take the iPod apart, as this ensures that it re-engages the catch on the mainboard when reassembled. Be patient when taking the iPod apart. The included tools can be resharpened with a Stanley knife, if need be. Once apart, the battery fits perfectly, with enough room for the wires to be tucked alongside it. Delighted with the purchase, as this is a premier product at a good price.
