Refurbished Items FAQ
We
have set out our answers to the most frequently asked questions below.
What
are refurbished items?
Customers return products for many reasons: a customer may change his or
her mind, not like the product, or have difficulty operating it. Whether it is
returned a month later or only the very next day, such an item must be
identified as refurbished
to be resold.
The Customer may have simply opened the box or briefly used the item.
How
do I identify refurbished products on this site?
We note all refurbished items on our site
with the following message -
This high-quality item has been factory
refurbished. Please click here for more information on quality refurbished
merchandise.
This lets you know you are in for a great deal on a fantastic product!
How are products refurbished?
Every product targeted for refurbishing or
reconditioning must pass a thorough examination.
Each item is checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality.
After repairing any defect and sanitizing when necessary, the
product is repackaged and returned to like-new or almost new condition.
Will
refurbished products come in different packaging?
By law, product packaging must state if an
item is refurbished, consequently we repackage all items in plain black or
white boxes which are labeled "refurbished" and state the contents in
each package
Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (camera cases, straps, for example)
that are not included with the refurbished or reconditioned product.
All ipods include quick start guide, earbuds and USB cable (or USB dock adapter in the case of
the shuffle). When we have the additional accessories such as the stand for the
itouch or dock adapters for all the models, we
include them but we do not guarantee that they are included.
What
makes a refurbished item such an excellent purchase?
Refurbished products maintain high quality standards.
The price you pay for a refurbished item is much lower than retail price.
