 | | | | Press Reviews | | The SanDisk Sansa Clip is easily one of our favourite MP3 players to date. So would you look at this...
The flash memory giant has finally released its first new MP3 player in more than a year in the shape of the 'Sansa Clip+' and the main difference here is a welcome one: a microSDHC expansion slot. On the surface of things the player has had a slight refresh with a slimmer, less bulbous design, but with capacities up to 8GB and support to add another 16GB via microSD this is one player that can beat down a 4GB iPod shuffle with its eyes closed. | | | PC MAG Review Pros: Very affordable. MicroSD card slot. Robust file support. FM radio and recording. Voice recorder.
Cons: SlotRadio cards are not included. Bundled USB cable is very short.
Bottom Line: A microSD slot has been added, but not a lot else has changed since the last Sansa Clip iteration. Even so, this budget MP3 player still does a lot more than the iPod shuffle—and for less. Full Review Date Added: Friday 20 May, 2011

 | | | | Customers ReviewsAverage customers review (12 customer reviews) | John Bell(Date Added: Thursday 19 January, 2012) Fantastic little MP3 player, I bought it to replace my beloved, but now defunct, iRiver S10 (also bought from AMP3 with the same level of excellent service!) and it's even better. Set the region to Rest Of World and the volume cap is bypassed, as other people have mentioned, and it sounds great. The MicroSD slot is a real bonus, and the onboard Mic sounds fine too for taking quick audio notes. I tried the RockBox software on it, but to be honest the built-in Sansa firmware is excellent, very responsive, quick to boot and very intuitive. Things that you want to work do: for example when listening to an audiobook the fast forward speed increases the more you hold the button - so you can quickly skip half an hour through an audiobook no problem, but without any loss of precision if you just want to skip ahort sections. All in all brilliant! |
 | Roger Bailey(Date Added: Wednesday 26 October, 2011) This was my first venture into the MP3 arena. I can say that it has been an enjoyable experiance. The purchase procedure was made easier with the aray of product assessments. The delivery service was swift. The product is excellent value for money, easy to use, and gives first rate reproduction. |
 | Ian Brown(Date Added: Wednesday 26 October, 2011) From ordering to delivery through usage, this little gem has been a pleasure (as has AMP3). Can't really add anything to what's gone before (set the right region otherwise the volume is really low). I use it mostly for listening to radio shows which I've recorded from my Humax set top box and converted to mp3s, so starting from where I left off is crucial (who wants to fast-forward 20 minutes!) and the Sansa does that very well indeed. Listening to music through my Sennheisers is also a pleasure. Hope this review helps other radio show listeners. |
