Amazing clarity, these head phones are the bst I have had. Two small problems the 2m(?) cable is a little long if you plan to use these with your MP3 and the open back design, well it is not suited for the train etc.
I am using these on my stereo and cowon mp3 and the sound off both is stunning. I would highly recommend.

STUFF.TV Review (RATED: 5/5)
STUFF.TV Review What's also also traditionally Grado about the SR60is is how great they sound. The price might have increase by a whole tenner over the old SR60s, but it's money well spent. Playing anything from Wire's Strange to Common's Heat, the Grados are exciting and impartial - low frequencies punch heftily, yet stop punctually, while voices in the midrange are as loaded with character as you're likely to hear. Treble is deft and fast. Crank the volume up, and they leak sound like a sonic colander - so they're sure to attract a few quizzical glances if you wear them in public. But these are as good as any cans in their class.     Full Review

Techradar Review (RATED: 5/5)
Techradar Review "In many respects, this is a highly capable headphone. It is very revealing and has one of the most satisfying tonal balances we've heard in this price range. Headphone tonality can often take a bit of getting used to and does vary to some extent, depending on each listener's ears, but in general terms, this model has a largely neutral midrange and a very good bass; extended but not over-emphasised... We're delighted with the changes Grado has made. It gives a very respectable model a significant leg-up, making it a strong recommendation in its category."     Full Review

WHATHiFi Review (RATED: 5/5)
WHATHiFi Review ...the SR60is were never designed to leave the house. They’re designed for serious, indoor hi-fi listening, and they absolutely excel at it...They’re tight, punchy and impeccably well-organised, ensuring the early snap of Crystal Castles’ Empathy is the sonic slap in the face it’s supposed to be, and that when the electronic effects build-up and the vocals are introduced, it’s all cohesive, unified, and yet spacious at the same time. These headphones are dynamically agile, too, capable of reproducing the big dynamic shifts of an epic track like Time from the Inception soundtrack, but also adept at revealing the subtle waverings in Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billie’s vocal delivery on Wolf Among Wolves. Returning to the bass: some may crave a little more bottom-end extension, but the SR60is will go deep enough for the vast majority of people, and have low frequencies that are supremely tight and expressive. And if you still want more bass, you could just got for the SR80is, which are, amazingly, even better.     Full Review
