Michael Ferdinand(Date Added: Friday 17 June, 2011) I've rang up and spoke to the sales team at Advanced MP3 several times over the last few weeks, and have bought an mp3 player along with these headphones, all through their advice and recommendations.
When I mentioned I listened to mostly classical and the occassional jazz tracks, as well as some acoustic guitar-type tracks, they recommended Denon. I can understand why! They provide good detail and seperation between instruments, and all cymbal hits are crisp and pronounced. In fact I think it's with tuned percussion these really shine, Liszt sounds brilliant. Some might say these are 'light on bass', but anybody with an acquired musical taste and loathing towards unarticulated, talentless dance and drum and bass artists will get on just fine with these.
Comfort-wise, these are suberb, and an absolute godsend on the train on the way to work. They cut out background noise, chatty women and screaming children very well! Can comfortably wear them for long periods of time. They are very lightweight too.
Very impressed with my new earphones. Well worth every penny. |
