Revo Mondo Wi-fi Internet Radio Adapter

Great radio. Small size, easy to use, fast connecting. Good construction with aluminium body.

Great bit of kit. The slowest bit of the setup is keying in the rather long encryption key I have on my network (without a keyboard).

The solution to the limit of 5 presets has been posted on avforums.com:

"Go to the Reciva website, create an account (free), select all your favorite stations, then log your individual radio(s) to your account, then select "my stations" on your radio and seconds later - hey presto - there they are on your radio for easy selection."

I found I had to turn the Revo off and on again for "my stations" to appear on the menu - but it works!

This is a fantastic little device. I was a ROKU Soundbridge M1000 user for years which in itself is a good product but, frustratingly, never had an Real Audio capability developed for it. This device does it all.

The instructions supplied could be a tad more helpful but there is enough to get you started and there is plenty of supplementary information on web (see the Receiva site at www.reciva.com).

Great value

The Revo Mondo is a fantastic little bit of kit - and be prepared, it is very little!
I'm always slightly aprehensive about anything networky/wireless, but the set up of this couldn't have been simpler - switch wi-fi on, plug it in, and within a few minutes, I had over 10,000 radio stations at my fingertips.
The build quality is fine - not massively robust, but ok - same goes for the handy little remote.
There's a slight delay in switching between stations, but nothing to lose sleep over.
All in all it does everything you want it to - the ability to listen again to BBC Radio shows for example is a really useful function, and probably the one that I use the most.
If you are after a bit of kit that allows you to listen to internet radio remotely from from your pc/mac then this little beauty is highly recommended.

The Revo Mondo has been great! It's really easy to set up and the choice of radio stations is immense - there are a lot of good US public radio stations available. As promised, the Mondo also has an alarm clock/a sleep timer for snoozing. You should also know that it can take between 3-15 seconds to change station and buffer (depending on internet connection) although this hasn't been a major minus. The only whine I have is that there are only 5 presets on the remote, but at least its a small remote!
