Unwire your music!

Transfer music wirelessly from any audio device or computer to your Audioengine powered speakers, surround receiver, or powered subwoofer. CD-quality HD stereo sound with no reduction in audio quality.

Hear all your music - no dropouts, static, or noise. Some pretty clever engineering means your music remains free from interference from wireless routers, cordless and mobile phones, microwave ovens, Bluetooth and WiFi devices.

Easy Setup

Most wireless audio products are difficult to use because they require you to download and install software, set up a network, and often require you to manually try to find a clear audio channel. The AW1 is plug-and-play so no software installation is needed - just connect both dongles to USB power (or to a USB battery pack), connect the audio cables, and wait 2 to 3 seconds for the status lights to go solid. Two stereo mini cables and an RCA adapter cable are included for easy connection to all your gear.

Functional Overview

The Audioengine W1 is designed to connect your audio components wirelessly. Think of AW1 as a simple replacement for any RCA or 3.5" mini-jack cable to or from your iPod, Audioengine powered speakers, computer, TV, surround-sound receiver, game console, network music player - or any other product where you want to eliminate audio cables.

The AW1 consists of 2 parts, the "Sender" and "Receiver". The Sender transmits audio from your computer through USB audio or from any product with 3.5mm mini-jack or RCA audio outputs. The other side of AW1, the Receiver, connects audio to any product with mini-jack or RCA audio connectors.

Power for the Sender and Receiver is provided from either a USB computer port, from the included USB AC power adapter, or from any other USB AC charger (such as an iPod charger, for example). Another USB power source is the Audioengine A5 powered speakers, which are equipped with a ComboPort(r) USB charger on top of the left speaker.

	Chris(Date Added: Monday 06 June, 2011) Great product worked straight out of the box. Sound quality excellent. Initial use: Note book to surround sound amp. Sound was quiet until I realised to change sound settings from pc speakers to 5.1 on notebook. Then by using iPhone charger to power the sender unit (the supplied plug powers the receiver attached to the amp) and using the supplied mini jack cables I can play from iPhone direct to main room speakers. FANTASTIC!

	Dr James Harper(Date Added: Tuesday 07 December, 2010) These tiny gadgets are amazing. As a lifelong hi-fi fan I tend to listen to the sound even more than the music. I have connected them to my Arcam stereo amp and large Harbeth speakers and I honestly cannot hear any difference in the sound quality. They are superb. The only regret is that you cannot buy separately the receiver units so that you could have receivers in several locations in the house without the need to disconnect and reconnect as you move around the house. I hope that AudioEngine see these reviews too. And the friendly and extremely helpful service from Advanced MP3 players is, like the AW1, in a class of its own.

	Paul Vaughan(Date Added: Wednesday 12 May, 2010) Really clever piece of kit, used to send audio wirelessly to powered subwoofer. Couple of things you should know, you will need another USB charger, widely available for less then £5 and if you are connecting to RCA sockets on AV amp and input to subwoofer, you will need to purchase a pair of female 3.5mm mini jack to RCA adaptors. Bought some from audiospares.co.uk for less than £2. So, when finally set up, works an absolute treat!
