SONOS BRIDGE

Apart from the excellent service from amp3, the sonos zone bridge is a great piece of kit. It is small enough to be tucked away out of sight but powerful enough to run a ZP90 in the summer house at the other end of the garden. A must to get rid of the wires from the router if like me it is in the most inappropriate point in the house.

I recently purchased the zonebridge (to accompany the Sonos S5) from advanced mp3. The purchasing experience was very good - I used google checkout - and the zonebridge arrived on time (always a bonus!).

The zonebridge itself is similar in size to most routers and was very easy to set up. I experienced a problem with my existing router (a Netgear WNR2000) where the sonos could not connect to the internet. This problem was resolved by changing the wireless mode on the netgear to multi i.e. b/g/n.

If you're thinking about getting a Sonos, ask yourself this question:
How much do I want to listen to the radio/music/podcasts?

If the answer is often or a lot then Sonos is what you want. I'm not going to say it's changed my life but it has made cooking and cleaning the kitchen a more bearable experience for me.
