Cowon S9, J3 & X7 TV Out Cable

Like all of the other reviewers it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to set the cowon to Tv out. (Cowon J3 interface is not the clearest in the world - thank god the rest makes up for it)
Once it was up and running though this does what it say on the tin. I had it attached to a 42" lcd and the picture quality was surprisingly good. My main reason for buying this though is for foreign travel where it will pay for itself in one trip. Most hotels now have a decent TV strapped to the wall but you're left with foreign languages on hollywood films, BBC news 24, or as usual paying for premium content movies at £8 to £10 a go. This lead solves all that and means I dont have to cart a netbook with me when I travel just to watch films.Couple of 32gb micro SD cards loaded with all of my favourite TV & movies. Buy the lead for a tenner, pop it in your case and forget it - your own portable PVR on big screen TV - brilliant!

Got it working after checking the manual and agree with the last reviewer that the picture is a little dark. Otherwise it's a pretty good product

Works well as long as you remember to turn the TV out on on the J3! I found that videos come across a bit dark on TVs that are usually well adjusted. This may well be the J3 rather than the lead of course, but does require the TV to be adjusted.

Robust lead, which is good, but perhaps a little bulky to cart around when travelling. Overall it does what it says and as per all accessories is a little expensive for what it is
