We have offset carbon emissions from the following business activities:
- Carbon emissions generated in the manufacturing of the leather cases in Asia
- Carbon emissions generated by the freight and transportation of the goods from Asia to our distribution outlets worldwide
- Carbon emissions generated by our administration functions
- Carbon emissions generated in the packaging
Production - We have chosen not only to offset the transportation element, but all the CO2 emissions generated in the production process. Offsetting simply means paying someone to reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere to net off the Co2 emissions generated by the production and transportation of our products. Its a repair service that takes time.
At Eco-nique, we strive to be responsible, and make the payments to Climate care as a true business cost, and not a one off donation!
